This class consists of the first half of the session a cardio ‘walking pilates’ which focuses on keeping correct posture as you raise the heart rate. Regular cardio exercise is important for any age but its especially important for older adults. It keeps your heart and lungs healthy, gives you energy, helps you burn calories. It can also help prevent and/or manage certain types of cancer, protect you from diabetes and help avoid metabolic syndrome.
Short intense sessions are more beneficial to you than a longer one, so in this class we do a warm up and release then approx. 20 mins followed by a relaxation session to help your body feel the full benefit of the session.
Single Session Credit - We recommend this option for first time users. Although it is a slightly more expensive option, you don't have to commit yourself to purchasing a whole course of lessons. The advantage is that this option allows you to try out your chosen class to see if you like it or not. The disadvantage is that it is more expensive and you only get 7 days to use your lesson from the date of purchase. This means that you have to wait until the last minute to book your chosen class, which may mean that it is already fully booked if it is a popular class.
Six Session Credits - We recommend this option for regular clients who have already tried out our different classes. You get 8 weeks to use up your 6 credits. You can use your 6 credits for any class on any day or time, with any instructor and for all of the different movement methods. The advantage of this option is that it is cheaper than a single session but you are able to book up for your chosen class up to 8 weeks in advance. This means that you are likely to be guaranteed your place on your chosen class if a particular class is very popular.
Twelve Session Credits - We recommend this option for regular clients who have already tried out our different classes. This option is designed for students who wish to attend classes at least twice a week. Effectively, you get your second class at half price. However, you only get 8 weeks to use up your 12 credits. This means that the system forces you to come to at least two sessions a week. You can use your 12 credits for any class on any day or time, with any instructor and for all of the different movement methods. The system allows you to book up for your chosen classes up to 8 weeks in advance. This means that you are likely to be guaranteed your place on your chosen class if a particular class is very popular.
