Baby Yoga

Mums and baby yoga is a unique beginner’s hatha yoga class that provides mums with the opportunity to enjoy the benefits of yoga with their babies. The class focuses on toning and strengthening the parts of the body that have been most effected by childbirth  and pregnancy while still allowing mums to spend time bonding and interacting with their babies. Classes are based on adapting postures, pranayama and relaxation techniques in ways in which allow babies to be fully integrated in the experience with their mothers.
vivian4_200Babies are often held by mums in various poses, songs, music and a variety of sensory experiences are provided in order to truly stimulate and engage babies in the class. Unlike the quiet environment of a regular yoga class mum with baby yoga is a flexible and relaxed environment where mums can attend to their babies needs at any time, the class simply goes on!!

Babies from 6 weeks to pre-crawling are welcome

Costs- 6 pound per drop in class, 6 week session for 30 pounds, first class free,

Benefits of the class

About your Instructor

Vivian is an experienced early childhood development specialist, having completed her BA in Toronto Canada specializing in Early Childhood Education. Vivian has worked with infants, children and families in unique environments and settings throughout, North America, Europe and the Dominican Republic. Having trained with the British Wheel of Yoga and continually developing her own personal practice, Vivian provides a refreshing approach to family centered yoga that truly unites the needs of new mums with those of their new babies.

 

The first class starts on Wednesday September 22 at 10:00 am and finishes at 11:00 am 

If you wish to book a 6 week session the cost is £36.00
